About This Position
Anesthesia Tech Certified

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
-
The Certified Anesthesia Technician is responsible for providing technical support in the preparation and maintenance of anesthesia equipment, supplies, and technology used during surgery and/or related medical procedures. The role supports anesthesia providers in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care to patient in various medical and surgical settings.

QUALIFICATIONS
-
Professional/Educational
-
Completion of an accredited anesthesia technician program.
-
Previous experience in a hospital setting as an anesthsia technician preferred.

Certification as an Anesthesia Technician required, such as American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians, or ASA.

Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) preferred.

Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.

Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.

Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.

Ability to follow directions accurately.

Willingness to participate in call schedule and work irregular hours as necessary.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
