About This Position

Anesthesia Tech Certified

  • DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
    • The Certified Anesthesia Technician is responsible for providing technical support in the preparation and maintenance of anesthesia equipment, supplies, and technology used during surgery and/or related medical procedures. The role supports anesthesia providers in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care to patient in various medical and surgical settings.

  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • Professional/Educational
      • Completion of an accredited anesthesia technician program.
      • Previous experience in a hospital setting as an anesthsia technician preferred.
      • Certification as an Anesthesia Technician required, such as American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians, or ASA.
      • Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) preferred.
    • Personal
      • Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.
      • Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.
      • Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.
      • Ability to follow directions accurately.
      • Willingness to participate in call schedule and work irregular hours as necessary.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
