Night Shift Maintenance Associate at Belstra Milling Co – DeMotte, Indiana

Belstra Milling Company is a family-owned agricultural business based in Demotte, IN. Belstra Milling thrives on making quality feed for livestock producers of all size whether small or very large. Belstra is in search of a self-motivated, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to work within our feed manufacturing facilities. Belstra Milling is committed to producing the highest quality, most nutritious feeds available. The operator must work in compliance with all the company policies, local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

• General plumbing, welding & fabrication, electrical, and carpentry skills
• Routine equipment maintenance
• Set-up, fabricate, and field fit auger and conveyor systems
• Installation of electric motor and drive combinations
• Knowledge of single and three-phase electrical power
• Ability to work alone or as a team
• Basic project management ability
• Keep accurate work records and turn in paperwork daily or as required
• Capable of completing tasks correctly while focusing on quality, service, and safety

Physical Demands:

• Lift at least 60-pounds
• Climb ladders and stairs and work at heights with good body balance
• Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, etc.
• Work in a dusty environment when loading/unloading
• Withstand exposure to seasonal weather conditions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Technical training not required, but a plus
• Minimum of 3-year maintenance experience

Schedule:

• 10 pm - 7 am
• Sunday-Thursday
