Position Summary:
The Front of House - Lead is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations and ensuring our guests receive exceptional service. You’ll manage a team of servers, hosts, and bartenders, and work closely with the management team to maintain smooth, efficient service during busy shifts. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Train Team: Supervise, mentor, and train front-of-house staff, ensuring all team members provide excellent guest service, follow restaurant policies, and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Guest Experience: Greet and interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction, handle guest concerns or complaints in a calm and professional manner, and help resolve any issues that arise.
- Shift Supervision: Manage daily front-of-house operations, including staff scheduling, setting up and breaking down the dining area, and ensuring proper flow of service.
- Collaboration with Kitchen: Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food orders and a seamless dining experience.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all guests receive their food and drinks as ordered, and in a timely manner, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Inventory & Ordering: Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and keeping track of front-of-house stock.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that the dining room, bar, restrooms, and front-of-house areas are consistently clean, organized, and presentable.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a front-of-house or supervisory role in a restaurant.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of restaurant POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- TIPS certification or similar alcohol training is a plus.
