Manning Park Resort is a year-round resort located between Hope and Princeton, BC. If you are ready to leave the hustle and bustle of city life, and enjoy outdoor fun and adventure, this place is for you. Staff housing is available, so your dream of living in the mountains is part of your adventure at Manning Park Resort.

We are presently looking for our next great team member as a Kitchen Helper & Dishwasher to join our Food & Beverage team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

* Properly wash and dry all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards.

* Preparing meal ingredients for the cooks, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients.

* Assisting kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks.

* Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.

* Maintaining an elevated level of personal hygiene in the work environment.

* Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans.

* Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required.

* Other tasks as required within MPR.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

* Previous kitchen experience

* Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

* Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and twisting

* Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs

* Must be self-motivated and a high energy individual.

* Must be able to multi-task & have strong organizational skills.

* A willingness to learn.

* Motivation to develop your career.

* FOODSAFE certification is an asset

This is a year-round position with an immediate start date or in April.
