Description:

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to asset management while working closely with senior leadership in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

The Asset Management Administrative Assistant supports the Asset Manager with daily administrative, reporting, and coordination responsibilities related to portfolio performance, compliance, and operational oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Asset Manager
  • Assist with property and portfolio reporting, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining documentation
  • Help coordinate compliance and regulatory documentation related to affordable housing programs
  • Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and presentations
  • Support asset preservation, risk management, and internal audit processes
  • Communicate and collaborate with on-site property teams and internal departments

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in property management, leasing, administrative support, real estate operations, or a related field preferred
  • Exposure to affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, HOME, etc.) preferred but not required
  • Entry-level candidates with strong administrative or leasing experience encouraged to apply

Requirements:
  • Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, reports, and financial data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Yardi experience a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching in all directions
  • Repetitive use of hands and fingers for data entry and keyboarding
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to walk property grounds and inspect units for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds
