Server Assistant, Food Runner, & Hostess Positions Open

Located eight miles from downtown Pittsburgh, in the heart of the South Hills, St. Clair Country Club is seeking friendly, professional, and service-oriented individuals to join our hospitality team. This role is essential to providing expectations of excellence to our members, their families and guests. The Club operates year-round, offering four a la carte Restaurants ranging from casual to fine dining.

Hours:

Off Season Wednesday - Sunday (October-March)

In Season Tuesday - Sunday (April-October)

Weekend and holiday availability are important.

Hostess:

• Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements
• Maintain accurate waitlists
• Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials

Server Assistant and Food Runner:

• Support servers with food delivery and table maintenance
• Clear and reset tables efficiently
• Fill/Refill water, bread, and beverages as needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
• Help ensure smooth communication between front and back of house
• Remains productive throughout shift with opening/closing side work assigned by Manager
