Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team and help drive exceptional quality, performance, and efficiency. In this role, you’ll oversee day-to-day production activities, ensuring we deliver high-quality products on time and in alignment with customer expectations.
You’ll guide and develop production specialists, coordinate daily job assignments, and foster a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. As a key leader on the floor, you’ll ensure compliance with our quality systems and procedures while supporting a smooth, productive, and safe operation.

What You’ll Do
- Follow all quality system requirements and applicable SOPs outlined in the Training Matrix.
- Lead and develop your team:
- Support hiring efforts through interviewing and selection of manufacturing personnel.
- Oversee onboarding and training using the Training Matrix and new hire checklist.
- Coach, mentor, and develop production leads and manufacturing staff.
- Assign team members to jobs and ensure proper training for all production procedures.
- Conduct performance reviews, manage timecards, and provide corrective action when needed.
- Manage production lines effectively:
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.
- Coordinate equipment setups and line start-ups.
- Remove nonconforming product and escalate to engineering when appropriate.
- Request engineering support and initiate NCRs when needed.
- Review and submit Lot History Records for all completed production work.
- Drive continuous improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and delivery.
- Prepare and track KPIs for Quality, Safety, Attendance, Productivity, and Scrap.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure adherence to all safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the production team.
What You’ll Bring
- A proven ability to lead teams and support positive change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing diverse groups and understanding operational workflows and organizational effectiveness.
- Strong knowledge of production metrics, labor planning, and material management.
- BS degree—preferably in a technical field—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2–5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior supervisory experience required.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with floor layout, tooling, fixturing, and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across teams and drive effective change.
- Ability to manage and resolve conflict constructively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
