Overview
The Project Manager plays a critical cross-functional role supporting Sarasota Arthritis Center’s (SAC) corporate operations, human resources initiatives, and provider-related projects. This role partners closely with leadership, physicians, managers, and onsite teams to plan, coordinate, and execute projects that improve efficiency, compliance, employee experience, and provider support.
This is a highly collaborative, execution-oriented role designed for a self-starter who can manage multiple priorities, track deliverables, and ensure projects move from concept to completion across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources & Employee Experience Support
· Assume Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate coordination, interview scheduling, and hiring workflows.
· Assist with onboarding and hiring processes across systems including Rippling, Bernie, Compliancy Group, Microsoft Teams, and All Chat platforms.
· Coordinate and publish employee birthday and work anniversary announcements in Microsoft Teams, with advance notification to Managers and Onsite Leaders.
· Assist with planning, tracking, and potential revamp of Employee of the Month and other employee recognition programs.
· Support benefits communication initiatives, including preparation of benefits presentations and employee education materials.
· Assist with annual open enrollment planning, execution, and employee follow-up.
· Support implementation and ongoing administration of benefits systems and processes.
· Coordinate 30/60/90-day check-ins for new hires and ensure documentation and follow-up are completed.
· Facilitate 30/60-day check-ins between new employees and their Managers; track completion and escalate gaps as needed.
· Assist with the rollout and implementation of performance review processes and tools.
· Conduct research and coordination related to Medical Assistant externship programs and workforce pipeline initiatives.
Physician & Provider Support
· Assist with tracking and managing Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements and calendar coordination for physicians.
· Maintain physician licensure spreadsheets, including collection of required documentation and distribution to Onsite Managers as needed.
· Support coordination of physician dinners, meetings, and engagement events.
· Track and assist with physician insurance maintenance, renewals, and documentation support.
Project Management & Cross-Functional Support
· Coordinate and manage assigned projects across HR, Operations, and Provider Support, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and ownership are clearly defined.
· Develop project plans, timelines, and tracking tools to monitor progress and identify risks or delays.
· Serve as a liaison between corporate leadership, physicians, managers, and onsite teams to ensure alignment and communication.
· Assist with documentation, SOP development, and process improvement initiatives as projects evolve.
· Prepare status updates, summaries, and reports for leadership on active projects.
· Support ad hoc initiatives and special projects as assigned by the Director of Human Resources & CHQ Operations.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
· Experience supporting projects across multiple departments or stakeholders.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
· High attention to detail and ability to follow processes through to completion.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams; comfort learning new HR and benefits platforms.
· Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to operate independently while maintaining alignment with organizational standards.
· Knowledge of healthcare operations, regulations, and compliance requirements.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management systems; experience with EHR platforms preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
· Strong commitment to patient care, staff engagement, and service excellence.
