About This Position

X-Ray Technician Per DiemMFM Health is a well-established private practice dedicated to providing high-quality primary care services to our community. Our team is committed to delivering compassionate care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our team per diem for in person coverage on Mondays. Must reside within travel distance to Middleton, MA, USA.

Job Summary:
The X-Ray Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and specialized x-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain accurate images.
  • Operate and maintain x-ray equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly.
  • Assist in the management of patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of procedures and results.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including radiation safety and infection control standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure as required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years or more of experience as an X-Ray Technician, preferably in a primary care or similar setting.
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency with x-ray equipment and digital imaging systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
  • Manual dexterity to operate x-ray equipment.
Compensation: $40-$50/hr

Schedule: Per diem; coverage on Mondays
