Position:Supervisor - Parking Operations

Schedule: Full-Time 1st shift Mon-Fri

The Spirit of the Position:

Thefirst shift Supervisoroversees the facilities during the morning rush, creating an efficient and welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients, while coordinating & supervising all first shift frontline staff across the properties. This position responds to all locations within the Bedrock portfolio.

Principal Job Duties:

  • Carries out all daily, weekly, and monthly tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
  • Ensures staff adheres to rules of conduct, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversees locations within a 7-block radius; making regular rounds to alllocations required ensuring all equipment is functioning and frontline are positioned correctly.
  • Supervises, mentors, and trains staff on day-to-day activities.
  • Assists in establishing performance standards, recommending, and implementing changes to procedures when necessary.
  • Promotes good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
  • Responsible for running any reports related to daily revenue, credit cards, garage data or other reports requested by management.
  • Assists with periodic training as needed.
  • Assists with creation of weekly garage schedule.
  • Conducts pre-shift huddles with morning staff.
  • Resolves customer service issues or questions as needed.
  • Greet by/use name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.
  • Accept monthly and debit payments and process credit cards.
  • Basic computer skills in the parking revenue control system (add/delete accounts, key in required information from monthly applications).
  • Other related duties as assigned.
  • While likely rare, must have the ability to work any shift on any day as the operation requires.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

  • Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
  • De-escalation or conflict resolution i.e. security experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Valid driver's license is required.

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to lead a frontline team of 20+ employees.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Ability to direct workflows of multiple departments.
  • Must be open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
  • Demonstrate the ability to seek improvement.
  • Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
  • Willingness to work in the elements heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
