About This Position

The ERP Inventory Analyst ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and optimization of inventory and production processes within the ERP system. This role leverages data analytics, AI, and automation tools to support decision-making and streamline operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support ERP system functionality, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Analyze inventory data and transaction history to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and maintain item masters, bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and related ERP data.
  • Troubleshoot work order closing issues, including variance analysis and transaction corrections.
  • Utilize AI and machine learning tools to automate data cleanup, validation, and forecasting support.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities (RPA, scripts, ERP AI features) to streamline inventory analysis, reporting, and work order management, reducing manual effort and errors.
  • Conduct regular audits, cycle counts, and data reconciliation to maintain high inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, quality, finance, and IT teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Develop reports and dashboards on key inventory metrics, incorporating predictive insights where applicable.
  • Support ERP upgrades, integrations, and process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1–3+ years of ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar) in a manufacturing or inventory-heavy environment.
  • Strong analytical and root cause problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, or ERP reporting tools).
  • Solid working knowledge of inventory management, costing, and production processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with AI and machine learning concepts and tools, with a focus on applying them to automation in inventory management, data analysis, and ERP processes (e.g., predictive modeling, anomaly detection, or process automation scripts).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Power Automate, Python scripting, RPA technologies).
  • Certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or AI/ML-related credentials.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or inventory-intensive environment.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Indoor food processing environment with potential wet floors, humidity, or dust.
  • Exposure to known food allergens.
  • Will require walking through warehouse or production areas.
  • May require standing, bending, or lifting up to 60 lbs during inventory audits or cycle counts.
  • Visual acuity required for reviewing data on screens and physical inventory verification.
  • Effective communication with cross-functional teams in office and production settings.
