Tire Technician at CTG Leasing Company – Chattanooga, Tennessee

Mount, dismount, and repair class 8 tractor and trailer tires, including sorting and storing of tire casings.

Responsibilities

• Mount tires for tractors and trailers
• Dismount take off tires as needed
• Sort tires ready for recapping based on casing age
• Ability to identify a recap tire.
• Ability to identify tire failure vs tire damage
• Load and unload tires with forklift onto storage trailers
• Load and unload tires with forklift onto vendor delivery truck

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of class 8 tractor and trailer tire characteristics.
• Ability to obtain a forklift license through an inhouse licensing program and operate a forklift safely at all times.

Education/Experience

• Experience handling class 8 tires preferred.
