Fertigation Supervisor
$23 - $23 an hour

Position Overview- The Fertigation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing all irrigation and fertigation activities within the Worcester Cultivation facility, and to support the Cultivation team when necessary. This role ensures cannabis plants receive precise and timely water and nutrient delivery while maintaining equipment functionality and supporting cultivation operations. The Fertigation Supervisor serves as a role model to teammates by demonstrating professionalism, strong work ethic, and collaboration, while stepping into all areas of cultivation as needed.
- Fertigation & Irrigation Oversight
- Operate and maintain fertigation systems, including Dosatrons, reservoirs, and drip irrigation lines.
- Conduct routine system checks, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on irrigation equipment to ensure consistent performance.
- Monitor and collect runoff data to validate proper nutrient and water delivery, adjusting schedules as needed.
- Ensure open sprinkler irrigation schedules are delivering proper irrigation volumes aligned with plant growth stage and environmental demands.
- Maintain accurate logs of irrigation schedules, nutrient mixes, EC/PPM/pH levels, and corrective actions taken.
- Cultivation Support
- Assist with all aspects of cultivation, including vegetative, flowering, and harvest operations.
- Participate in bucking, trimming, and plant handling whenever fertigation tasks are complete.
- Collaborate with cultivation leadership to align fertigation strategy with overall crop planning and production goals.
- Team Leadership & Role Modeling
- Provide guidance and training to cultivation staff on fertigation practices and system operation.
- Model professional conduct, teamwork, and attention to detail, setting the standard for cultivation teams.
- Additional Duties
- Perform overtime work as needed during critical growth cycles, emergencies, or system failures.
- Support compliance with CCC regulations and company SOPs relating to nutrient storage, environmental discharge, and plant health standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- 21+ and currently residing in the USA
- Horticulture and/or Agricultural Experience, 2+ years (preferred)
- Supervisor Experience, 1+ years (preferred)
- Cannabis Industry Experience, 1+ years (preferred)
- Advanced Communication, Math, Organizational, and Computer Skills
- Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (ability to obtain upon hire)
- Associate Degree or Industry Training Equivalent
- Fast-paced, warehouse-like, and rapid-changing environment
- Manufacturing facility with industrially lit rooms and heavy machinery that may produce loud sounds
- Indoor greenhouse environments and grow rooms with elevated temperatures and humidity
- Plant pollen and extraction fumes may be present on surfaces and in the air
- Protective suits may be required (provided on site)
- Kneeling, squatting, lifting, bending, walking, pivoting, and long-term standing (all expected activities)
- Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- *NOTE: The facility contains confined spaces that may only be accessible by ascending/descending stairwells while traveling throughout building. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
