This is a high-impact legal role at the heart of a fast-scaling technology organization operating across Europe. You will play a key part in enabling commercial growth while ensuring legal soundness across a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment. The position focuses on structuring, negotiating, and scaling commercial agreements, while also contributing to broader legal areas such as privacy, regulatory, employment, and corporate matters. You will act as a strategic partner to senior business stakeholders, helping translate legal complexity into practical, business-oriented solutions. Operating in a dynamic, high-growth setting, you will be expected to balance speed with precision, building scalable frameworks that support long-term expansion. - Lead the negotiation, drafting, and execution of complex commercial agreements with customers, vendors, and strategic partners across Europe.
- Develop, refine, and scale commercial contracting frameworks, including templates, playbooks, and standardized workflows.
- Support broader legal matters across European operations, including privacy, regulatory, employment, corporate, product, and compliance topics.
- Act as a trusted legal advisor to cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Operations.
- Identify legal and regulatory risks and design pragmatic, business-aligned solutions to enable growth while managing exposure.
- Build and improve scalable legal processes and tools to enhance efficiency and consistency in contracting and legal operations.
- Contribute to the development of a best-in-class legal function across European markets.
- 8+ years of legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house environment, ideally within the United Kingdom.
- Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales with strong academic credentials in law.
- Extensive experience in commercial contracting, including structuring and negotiating complex agreements.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable legal workflows and operational processes.
- Strong understanding of European legal frameworks, with exposure to multi-jurisdictional environments.
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders in fast-paced, technology-driven organizations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear business guidance.
- Strong judgment, integrity, and ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations.
- Highly proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Experience in technology companies or international law firms is highly desirable.
- Additional language skills such as French, German, or Dutch are a plus.
