This role sits at the intersection of healthcare finance, analytics, and executive advisory, driving high-impact revenue cycle performance assessments for hospital and health system clients. The Director Assessments plays a pivotal role in evaluating operational and financial performance across complex healthcare environments, translating data into clear, actionable insights for executive leaders. Working closely with C-suite stakeholders, this position helps define improvement strategies that directly influence revenue optimization and operational efficiency. The role requires strong analytical expertise, polished executive communication, and the ability to manage multiple high-stakes assessments simultaneously. Operating in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, the Director serves as both a strategic advisor and hands-on expert in revenue cycle performance. This is a remote nationwide role with travel requirements based on client engagement needs.
- Lead end-to-end revenue cycle performance assessments for hospital and healthcare clients, analyzing AR performance, KPIs, benchmarks, and operational gaps.
- Develop and deliver executive-level presentations and reports that clearly communicate findings, financial impact, and remediation strategies.
- Support pre-sales and client acquisition efforts by showcasing analytical insights and demonstrating value to senior stakeholders.
- Manage assessment workflows, including document validation, data review coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and SMEs.
- Oversee onsite and post-onsite assessment phases, including findings consolidation, report development, and client presentations.
- Drive integration readiness activities for new clients, including tracking implementation progress and supporting operational transition planning.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all assessment deliverables and maintain alignment with revenue cycle best practices.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare, hospital revenue cycle, or healthcare financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of hospital billing, AR performance, KPIs, and revenue cycle workflows.
- Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into executive-level recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong presentation and storytelling skills.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership, including CFOs and other executive stakeholders.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assessments simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- CRCR certification or other relevant healthcare certification preferred.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25 percent as required.
