About the Role
We’re looking for a Production Planner to play a critical role in keeping our operations running efficiently and on schedule. This position is responsible for organizing and prioritizing production based on demand, resources, and quality standards—ensuring products are manufactured and repairs are completed on time.
You’ll work closely with Plant Managers, Shop Foremen, Project Managers, and cross‑functional teams to coordinate workflows, allocate resources, and continuously improve production planning processes.

- Create, manage, and adjust daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments
- Review work orders and plan workflows for new manufacturing and repair jobs
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to optimize throughput and minimize delays
- Monitor job progress, identify risks, and proactively escalate issues when timelines or budgets are at risk
- Collaborate with Project Managers to confirm workload feasibility and shop capacity
- Prepare and deliver status, productivity, and performance reports
- Maintain accurate production documentation and scheduling records
- Partner cross-functionally (warehouse, quality, safety, estimating, and shop leadership) to improve communication and efficiency
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost control, and scheduling efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards

- Daily and weekly productivity targets are consistently met
- Work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Production schedules are clear, realistic, and well-communicated
- Improved coordination, fewer bottlenecks, and stronger delivery performance
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or production support
- Strong understanding of production workflows, resource allocation, and scheduling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems
- Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Management, Business, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning
- Experience in electrical or mechanical manufacturing or repair environments
