Acting as the front line of growth, you will build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities while opening doors to long-term partnerships. The position requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, relationship development, and execution in fast-moving, performance-driven environments. You will collaborate closely with internal leadership, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure seamless alignment between market needs and service delivery capabilities. - Drive new client acquisition by identifying, targeting, and engaging unionized hospitals and health systems through market research and industry intelligence.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with strategic growth objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with executive-level healthcare stakeholders, including CNOs, VPs of Operations, and Labor Relations leaders.
- Execute outreach strategies including direct engagement, networking, referrals, and industry event participation to generate new business opportunities.
- Secure meetings and introductions for senior leadership to support progression from initial contact to proposals and contract negotiations.
- Track outreach activity, pipeline development, and client engagement within CRM systems to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging, client strategy, and solution development.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and events to strengthen brand presence and generate leads.
- Share market insights, competitor intelligence, and client feedback to inform broader business strategy.
Requirements:
- 5–7+ years of experience in healthcare staffing, workforce solutions, or healthcare business development roles.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations, labor environments, and healthcare organizational structures.
- Proven track record of engaging and influencing executive-level healthcare stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities and build long-term client relationships.
- Strong communication skills with executive presence and the ability to lead high-level conversations.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based, performance-driven environment with strong accountability for results.
- Experience working with CRM systems and managing structured sales pipelines.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment while maintaining urgency and focus on outcomes.
