Location: Dedham, MA
Hours & Schedule: FT, 40 hrs p/w, Mon-Fri (occasional nights and weekends for events)
Salary: $52,000-$55,000

About Dedham Community House
Founded in 1922, Dedham Community House is a nonprofit community center located in the heart of historic Dedham. Our campus spans 7.5 acres and serves as a hub for education, recreation, and connection for individuals and families across Dedham and surrounding communities.
We offer a wide range of programs for all ages, including a licensed preschool, summer camp, aquatics, and community events. Our historic Haven House and other facilities host gatherings, celebrations, and local partnerships year-round.

Position Overview
Dedham Community House seeks a Marketing, Development, and Events Coordinator to support revenue growth, community engagement, and program visibility.
You will coordinate marketing, support fundraising, and help drive event rentals and attendance. You will work across teams to promote programs, fill events, and strengthen relationships with families, donors, and partners.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, creative, and comfortable with technology, design and social media.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing and Communications
- Create and manage content for social media, email, and website Design graphics and marketing materials using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite Maintain and update website content in Squarespace or WordPress Execute email campaigns and newsletters Manage content calendar and track engagement metrics Ensure consistent branding across all channels
Development and Fundraising
- Support fundraising campaigns, sponsorship outreach, and donor communications Help plan and execute fundraising events Maintain donor and prospect records in CRM systems Assist with acknowledgments, reports, and donor stewardship Research potential sponsors and partners
Events and Venue Support
- Promote DCH as a venue for rentals, parties, and community events Respond to inquiries and support the booking process Coordinate marketing and communications for events Assist with event logistics, vendors, and on-site support Track attendance, leads, and event performance
Sales and Community Outreach
- Support outreach to families, partners, and local organizations Help drive enrollment for preschool, camp, and programs Assist with tours, open houses, and community events Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and partners
Qualifications
- 2+ year(s) of experience in marketing, development or sales Strong writing and communication skills Experience with social media platforms and content creation Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite Familiarity with CRM systems such as SalesforceExperience with website platforms such as Squarespace or WordPress Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred
- Experience in nonprofit, education, or community-based organizations Experience supporting events or venue rentals Photography and video skills
Work Environment
- Combination of office and on-site event support Occasional evenings or weekends for events
