AI Video Content Specialist at Bamboo Works – Cape Town

We need a high-level, sales-focused AI Video Content Specialist who can blend cutting-edge AI technology with deep consumer psychology to drive conversions.

You will be the engine behind the product sales, responsible for creating high-converting VSLs and e-commerce ads. You will also play a pivotal role in scaling the client’s decades of medical expertise into a global, AI-led educational platform.

Part-time: 20 hours per week (with the opportunity to grow to full-time)
Location: Remote
Schedule: Eastern Time working hours (with flexibility)
Monthly Budget: $600-800 (based on a 20-hour workweek, depending on level of experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Response & Performance Creative:

• Create high-converting Video Sales Letters (VSLs) designed to hook viewers and drive them to the "Buy" button.
• Produce rapid ad iterations for Meta, YouTube, and TikTok, creating multiple "hooks" based on performance data.
• Apply psychological editing techniques—using "pattern interrupts," dynamic captions, and strategic pacing to maximize retention.

AI Innovation & Implementation:

• Build and manage hyper-realistic AI talking avatars (HeyGen, Synthesia) that represent the brand with 100% medical credibility.
• Master voice synthesis (ElevenLabs) to ensure tone, authority, and medical credibility across multiple languages.
• Develop "user-generated" style content (AI UGC) to create authentic ad creatives at scale.

High-End Production & VFX:

• Use motion graphics to explain complex medical or product features in a way that feels premium and authoritative.
• Integrate visual effects and professional color grading to elevate the brand’s perceived value.

Creative Strategy:

• Optimize scripts by suggesting hooks, angles, and "big ideas" based on e-commerce best practices.
• Apply the fundamentals of sales psychology (Agitate, Solution, Proof, CTA) to every piece of content.

Role Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in AI clone creation or a similar role
• Proven, hands-on experience with AI video and avatar tools (Synthesia is highly preferred).
• Strong AI prompting skills across text (LLMs), voice (cloning), and video.
• Proven experience in creating video content specifically for e-commerce or digital product sales.
• Deep hands-on experience with AI video (HeyGen/Synthesia), AI Voice (ElevenLabs), and AI scripting.
• Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• A fundamental understanding of consumer psychology and what drives digital transactions.
