CAREGIVER / HHA / CNA - Consistent Hours at Platinum Care Group – Chicago, Illinois

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a 53-year-old client in a home setting. The schedule for this role is Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM. This role focuses on companionship, supervision, personal care assistance, and daily household support. The ideal caregiver is patient, attentive, and comfortable assisting with mobility support and safety supervision. Caregiver must be comfortable working in a home with a dog.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Provide companionship through conversation, music, reading, and engaging activities.
• Supervise and promote safety during daily activities and outings.
• Provide medication reminders and report refusals or concerns to the care team.
• Assist with meal preparation following a vegetarian/pescatarian diet.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as shower support and dressing assistance when needed.
• Encourage exercise and accompany client on walks and appointments as tolerated.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, dishwashing, vacuuming, surface cleaning, organizing pantry and refrigerator, and disposing of trash.
• Escort client to appointments and outings as needed.
• Observe and report any changes in condition, safety concerns, or unusual behaviors.

Requirements

Caregiving experience preferred (CNA/HHA a plus)
