Systems Support Specialist at Cutter & Buck – McKinney, Texas
About This Position
Job Vision:
The System Support Specialist provides in-depth testing and support of critical systems at New Wave Group North America.
Job Location:
This position will be remote and will include frequent travel to Seattle through 2026. Travel may also include other locations throughout North America. Initially this position will require being onsite at our Seattle Fulfillment Center for several weeks as we migrate to Infor WMS and integrate other systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Support of our Embroidery Development and Scheduling Software. This includes Testing, Upgrades, Debugging and End-user support.
- Design, test and support labels and hangtags for our VAS department, as well as custom labels and forms used by the WMS.
- System Support Specialist will help support and manage the Company’s Warehouse Management System Infor WMS at our Fulfillment centers located in Dallas, TX (DFC) Seattle, Washington (SFC) and Toronto, Canada (TFC). The position also collaborates with others in the IT organization to support and administer various other software applications used throughout the FC that interface with the warehouse management system. Interface with local super-users and provide end user support.
- Collaborates with local super-users for secondary coverage of Kardex (AutoStore middleware) & Put wall.
Successful candidates will:
- Have system administration experience supporting a Warehouse Management System for a large fulfillment center. Recent experience with Infor WMS or other WMS is required to ensure coming up to speed quickly in the role. Excellent troubleshooting skills are also required.
- Experience with label design programs like Bartender, Interform or Nice Label.
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical staff and customers.
- Organized and process oriented. Diligent with documentation.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional demeanor and be solution oriented at all times
- Demonstrate strong problem solving and prioritization skills in a changing environment
- Willingness to be flexible with work hours (40+ hrs/week).
- Valid passport & enthusiastic travel is required.
Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent work experience supporting development teams
