Steward at Belle Haven Country Club – Alexandria, Virginia

Belle Haven Country Club located in Alexandria Viginia seeks full-time or part-time associates to support the culinary operations.

· Sweep and mop floors.

· Wash worktables, refrigerators; maintains sanitary conditions.

· Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place all in designated containers.

· Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand/machine.

· Scrape food from dirty dishes and rinse them/place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.

· Polish silver using machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth.

· Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of hand truck.

· Wash and peel vegetables using knife or peeling machine.

· Maintain health and sanitation standards.

• Must have sufficient knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with supervisor.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Belle Haven Country Club policies and procedures.
• Attend required meetings.

Hours may vary, but shift is from 9am-5pm, Tuesday through Saturday
