Multiple Shifts: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM and 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (with a 1-hour break included); Rotating Saturdays

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II who excels in patient care and demonstrates strong communication and collaboration skills with clients, team members, and the team lead. This role requires independence, proven performance, and proficiency across a variety of healthcare settings. Candidates must be comfortable working with patients of all ages and adaptable when working in patient service centers and clinical environments.
Pay and Benefits:
- $18.00 per hour base pay

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize blood, tissue, and other bodily fluid samples from patients of all age ranges, including pediatrics
- Appropriately collect, label, and process specimens accurately for testing and transport
- Accurately enter patient data, order choices, and specimen details into the system
- Monitor inventory and maintain an organized, clean work environment
- Support Team Lead with entry-level phlebotomists as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency in venipuncture and sample collection across all age ranges
- Effective communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Proficient in email communication and basic computer functions
- All candidates must pass a background check in compliance with Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) guidelines
- High school diploma; GED
License/Certification:
- Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Required)
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
