Responsibilities for Diesel Technicians / Mechanics

Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers and drivers
Interact with customers and handle requests
Using basic computer skills to track and enter repair data
Performing preventative maintenance on trucks and trailer equipment
Repairing and troubleshooting components such as engines, transmissions and chassis components
Keep work area clean and safe
Perform vehicle diagnostics
Learn new skills through Truckway's technician training
Pick up and/or deliver equipment for maintenance

Qualifications Diesel Technicians / Mechanics

Preferred experiences as a Diesel Technician
Must have a clean driving record
Preferred One year of Fleet or Dealership experience
High School diploma or equivalent required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Deadline and detail-oriented
Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
Self-motivated and professional
Class A CDL a plus

Mobile Technician Physical Requirements:

Sitting, Standing, Stooping/Kneeling for extended amounts of time.
Reaching with arms and hands
Lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work independently
