Senior Business Applications Analyst at Progressive Roofing – Phoenix, Arizona

Progressive Roofing is seeking a Senior Business Applications Analyst to lead the analysis, optimization, and support of enterprise business applications across the organization. This role acts as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring systems effectively support operational, financial, and strategic goals.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with ERP and business systems, excels at translating business needs into technical solutions, and thrives in a fast-paced, operations-focused environment.

• Serve as the primary liaison between business units and IT for enterprise applications

• Analyze business processes and system workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and automation

• Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and solution design for system enhancements and new implementations

• Configure, maintain, and support business applications (ERP, financial, project management, CRM, etc.)

• Manage application upgrades, patches, testing, and deployments

• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors

• Develop and maintain system documentation, process flows, and user training materials

• Support data integrity, reporting, and integrations between systems

• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices

• Ensure applications align with security, compliance, and internal controls

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Applications Analyst or similar role

• Strong experience supporting ERP and enterprise business systems

• Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, HR, Project Management)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or project-based industries

• ERP experience (e.g., Viewpoint, Sage, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)

• Experience with system integrations, reporting tools, and SQL

• Project management experience or Agile/Scrum exposure

• Familiarity with SaaS applications and cloud-based systems
