About This Position
Overall goal: The US Quality Manager provides leadership for the U.S. Quality
Management System, ensuring system integrity, regulatory compliance, and sustained
quality performance. The role translates corporate quality strategy into site-level
execution, drives accountability for quality outcomes, and develops quality capability
across U.S. operations.
Role Objectives:
• Maintain ISO 9001 certification at US facilities with no major nonconformances.
• Reduce repeat audit findings and quality escapes year-over-year.
• Ensure 100% of internal and external nonconformances include documented root cause analysis and verified corrective action effectiveness.
• Identify and lead at least 3 cross-functional quality improvement initiatives annually.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and HSE to ensure integrated management system alignment and continual improvement.
• Meet or exceed target for internal and external PPM.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Lead the day-to-day execution of the ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System (QMS) across U.S. operations.
• Maintain audit readiness at all times and ensure timely resolution of findings.
• Lead timely and effective investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution of quality issues and customer complaints.
• Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and proactive identification and mitigation of quality risks.
• Track performance trends, identify drivers of quality loss, and partner with operations and engineering teams to implement improvement initiatives.
• Serve as the primary quality contact for customer quality issues when required.
Quality Control
• Oversee in-process and final product inspection processes to ensure compliance with product specifications and customer requirements.
• Ensure inspection standards, methods, and documentation are clearly defined and consistently applied.
• Provide leadership and guidance to inspection personnel and support training on inspection procedures and quality standards.
• Ensure final product certification and documentation requirements are met.
Quality Assurance
• Maintain the nonconformance management process, including tracking, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Ensure quality records, reporting, and documentation support compliance with ISO 9001 and internal standards.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, prioritize improvement initiatives, and reduce systemic risk.
Environmental, Health & Safety
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment [PPE].
• Participate in company sponsored safety training.
• Follow safe work practices.
• Report unsafe/hazardous conditions.
• Champion Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and compliance within the Quality organization.
General
• Encourage and motivate your direct reports, establish and document their goals and objectives on job descriptions, and appraise performance and update job descriptions regularly as per the company policy.
• Any other duties for which you are deemed capable of by senior management.

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
