Support the execution of external communications strategies across product launches, brand campaigns, partnerships, and key cultural moments.
Draft compelling press materials including pitches, press releases, messaging documents, briefings, and press kits.
Proactively pitch media and cultivate relationships with journalists across consumer, business, and industry verticals.
Manage incoming editorial requests and coordinate internal approvals and responses.
Oversee press sample tracking and fulfillment for product launches.
Support executive visibility and thought leadership, including drafting bylines, talking points, and identifying media opportunities.
Track and maintain award opportunities, submission calendars, press lists, media trackers, and reporting dashboards.
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Legal, E-Commerce, and Retail teams to deliver integrated communications initiatives.
Monitor media trends and cultural moments to inform proactive outreach strategies.
3+ years of experience in public relations or communications, with direct experience pitching and collaborating with journalists.
Experience supporting consumer brands in grooming, beauty, CPG, or lifestyle categories preferred.
Proven ability to build and maintain media relationships across lifestyle, trade, business, and culture verticals.
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
Analytical skills to manage reporting, media tracking, shipment coordination, and performance measurement.
Proficiency in PR tools and databases (experience with Muck Rack, Business Wire, Brandwatch preferred).
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Competitive base salary: USD $75,000 – $80,000/year.
