Shipping & Receiving Supervisor at Akebono Brake Corporation – Glasgow, Kentucky

BASIC POSITION DUTIES:

• Leads and coordinates activities of the Receiving Department to meet organizational objectives in the areas of productivity, quality, employee relations, safety, continuous improvement and equipment utilization.

JOB DUTIES:

• Assignment and coordination of Receiving Associates.

• Ensures equipment operation in compliance with established procedures.
• Training Production Associates.

• Leads continuous improvement and APS activities.
• Promotes and maintains good working relationships with assigned groups.
• Ensures timely updates of ASN’s and Ford’s DDU Program.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Graduate.
• Additional education beyond high school preferred.
• Leadership and/or Team building training helpful.
