Caregiver and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Helping Hearts Senior Care – Alabama Hill, Ohio

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Weekends

Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients by assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance and transfers (including use of gait belts or lifts if needed)
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors or healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, tidying, etc.)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Follow all safety protocols and care plans

Qualifications:
- For CNA: Current state CNA certification (required)
- For Caregiver: Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Must pass background check
