About This Position
The Intern, NABA will support the work of the NABA and NABA Foundation on a variety of tasks including research on best practices, drafting of key documents and communications, data entry, project management, conference support and follow up and other duties as assigned.
We will identify a cadre of NABA Interns for Summer 2026 and develop individual scopes based on NABA and NABA Foundation needs, intern interest and experience and availability of resources and supports.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management- Execute Project Plans as assigned
- Provide administrative support including data entry, project planning updates and other duties as assigned
- Facilitate debriefs and lessons learned to support continuous improvement
- Execute project plans and play key support roles in major initiatives for NABA including the NABA Foundation, national convention and regional conferences,
- Provide feedback on improvements and opportunities related to project support
- Provide support with internal and external communications in partnership with Marketing and Communications [MC1]
- Create internal checklists and materials
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a preference for a degree in business or communications
- Experienced and expressive writer and communicator
- Ability to organize and synthesize ideas and concepts to build a brand
- Attention to detail
- Drive to overcome roadblocks and complete projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- A passion for working with people, an unshakeable belief in their potential, and a strong commitment to the mission of NABA, Inc.
- One must possess the ability to communicate and exchange information as well as use a computer.
- One must be able to transport up to 20 lbs.
- NABA operates from 9 am-5 pm EST Monday through Friday and expects its interns to work between 20 hours within these time frames
- This role is expected to support 20 hours per week for 8 weeks (June 15th- August 15th not including week of shutdown June 29th) during Sumer 2026
