About This Position
Strategic Analysis, Inc. (SA) is an industry-leading firm, specializing in providing high-quality technical, analytical, and program management expertise to support all aspects of the Government mission to develop emerging technologies and protect the homeland. SA is currently seeking a Program Operations Specialist to provide administrative and program management support services to missile defense system development.
On-site work with our government clients in the Pentagon of Arlington, VA is expected to be five (5) days per week, with intermittent telework capabilities.
As a Program Operations Specialist, you will:
· Develop an understanding of general mission/objectives of the program to deliver operational support including correspondence, workflow, travel, and other administrative and project management tasks.
· Review and compose correspondence, reports, memoranda, readaheads, and briefing materials using guidelines set forth in the DoD Manual for Written Material.
· Draft correspondence, reports, and briefing materials for use by SES leadership with internal and external audiences, to include DoD leadership, government working groups, members of Congress, and others.
· Monitor the correspondence and task management system to ensure all action and informational packages are triaged and assigned to action officers within a timely manner. Provide support to action officers in the assembly of packages and tracking of progress to meet assigned deadlines.
· Prepare trip estimates, travel orders and vouchers. Reconcile planned travel with actual execution. Draft travel reports detailing status and funding levels.
· Coordinate country clearances and other security requirements.
· Attend regular meetings, briefings, and program reviews, relay milestones and progress to senior leaders, and maintain file records.
· Perform other program operational and administrative tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Clearance: An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required. At the discretion of the government, specialized experience may be substituted in lieu of educational requirement.
Experience:
· Minimum ten (10) years' recent and relevant experience is required, to include providing administrative support for senior government officials, including correspondence, travel, file management, briefing support, and related tasks.
· Proficiency with the Defense Travel System (DTS) and Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) or other Task Management Tool (TMT) is highly preferred.
· Knowledge of DoD organizational structure is preferred.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral.
· Ability to coordinate across large groups at multiple levels.
· Ability to adapt and shift priorities within a fast moving environment to meet client requirements.
· Advanced MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
