This is a high-impact, revenue-driving role at the intersection of sales, strategy, and client relationship management within the clinical research ecosystem. You will take ownership of the full sales lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to closing complex deals, while building long-term partnerships with pharmaceutical and CRO clients. The position offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where innovation and collaboration are key to success. You’ll play a critical role in expanding market presence, influencing go-to-market strategies, and delivering measurable value to clients. Ideal for a consultative seller, this role rewards initiative, strategic thinking, and relationship-building expertise. - Own and drive the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pipeline management, forecasting, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and participation in industry events
- Establish and grow relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact
- Lead client engagements such as presentations, bid defenses, and governance meetings in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Manage and respond to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring high-quality and competitive submissions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, contracts, and technical teams to support successful deal execution
- Gather and share market and competitive insights to inform strategic decisions
- Mentor and support junior business development team members
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales or business development within the pharmaceutical, CRO, or life sciences sectors
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a consultative selling environment
- Strong understanding of the clinical trial landscape and industry dynamics
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including executives
- Proven ability to identify client needs and develop tailored, value-driven solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective opportunity qualification capabilities
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $120,000, plus uncapped commission
