This role leads and scales a high-performing team of Sales Engineers supporting enterprise clients across the East Region. You will act as the technical sales leader, guiding proof-of-value (POV) engagements and collaborating closely with sales executives to drive successful deal closures. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, requiring deep knowledge of software platforms, integrations, and the broader security ecosystem. You will architect solutions that address complex business challenges for large enterprise clients, while coaching and developing a team of technical professionals. This role offers an opportunity to shape regional sales engineering strategy, influence enterprise client relationships, and deliver measurable impact on revenue growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment. - Lead and scale a team of Sales Engineers, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Partner with sales executives to develop account-based strategies, plan implementations, and drive enterprise penetration.
- Own the technical pre-sales cycle, including discovery meetings, product demos, and execution of proof-of-value (POV) engagements.
- Conduct competitive research and provide insights on the security landscape to guide sales strategy and technical recommendations.
- Architect and present tailored technical solutions that integrate with existing IT environments and address specific enterprise challenges.
- Serve as the regional subject matter expert on platforms, integrations, and cybersecurity trends.
- Mentor and coach team members to ensure professional development and alignment with organizational goals.
- 3+ years in a leadership role within a technical sales or engineering organization.
- Proven experience selling software solutions to Fortune 1000 or large enterprise clients.
- Background in sales engineering, cybersecurity, or related technical field.
- Strong expertise delivering technical presentations, product demos, and POVs to audiences ranging from technical users to C-suite executives.
- Familiarity with Internet protocols (HTTP, SMTP, TCP/IP) and network topology/configuration.
- Knowledge of endpoint security technologies such as AV, EDR, and next-generation AV solutions.
- Understanding of cloud security principles and vulnerability management frameworks.
- Experience conducting competitive research and providing technical guidance during complex sales cycles.
- Ability to architect security solutions based on customer business requirements and networking components like firewalls and routers.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and inspire teams.
- Competitive annual on-target earnings: $295,000–$315,000 USD.
