We are currently seeking experienced Lane Closure Technicians (LCTs) to support our expanding projects across the Lower Mainland.

As a Lane Technician at Glen Traffic Solutions Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow during various projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of traffic control measures, making a significant impact on our operations in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

  • 1 -2 years of Lane Closure experience
  • Clean driver’s abstract
  • Strong communication skills with drivers, crew, and operators
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (8-12 hours)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-first environment
  • Positive attitude, motivated and energetic.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of traffic control measures for various projects, conduct regular inspections of equipment and work sites to maintain compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project execution.
  • Monitor traffic flow and adjust controls as necessary to enhance safety.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work sites to maintain compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide support during road construction, event management, and other traffic-related tasks.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of paving techniques and traffic management principles.
  • Experience in heavy equipment operation is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing environments.
  • Commitment to safety practices and attention to detail.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to traffic control equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to write reports.

Salary- $26 onwards
