BOOKKEEPER
Location: Croton-on-Hudson, NY
Compensation: $90,000+ (depending on experience)

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented BOOKKEEPER to manage the complete accounting cycle for a stable, long-established manufacturing organization. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role supporting the Controller and requires strong technical accounting ability and expert-level EXCEL proficiency.
This role is ideal for candidates who are fully confident in advanced Excel functions and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years Full-Charge Bookkeeper or full-cycle accounting experience
• Hands-on ADP payroll experience
• ERP experience required (Epicor preferred; comparable systems accepted)
• Strong GAAP knowledge with independent month-end/year-end close experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel required (tested during interview):
  • Pivot Tables
  • VLOOKUP and similar lookup functions
  • Advanced formulas and large data sets
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage deadlines independently

• Handle full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR, GL, payroll (ADP), and cash flow
• Prepare financial statements and support the month-end/year-end close
• Perform bank/vendor reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed asset tracking
• File sales tax and support audits
• Provide reporting and operational support to the Controller
