Creative Camp Counselor at Levitate – Marshfield, Massachusetts

Report To: Creative Camp Manager

The Creative Camp Counselor supports campers’ creative expression and environmental awareness through hands-on art projects and outdoor learning experiences. This role combines camper supervision with the facilitation of nature-based exploration and art activities in a safe, inclusive, and engaging camp environment.

• Supervise campers to ensure safety and well-being at all times
  
• Plan and lead age-appropriate art activities using a variety of media
  
• Facilitate nature-based learning experiences such as outdoor exploration, observation, and environmental projects
  
• Encourage creativity, curiosity, and respect for the natural environment
  
• Support campers’ social and emotional development through positive guidance and mentorship
  
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe activity spaces indoors and outdoors
  
• Collaborate with fellow counselors and camp leadership on schedules, events, and theme days
  
• Follow camp policies, safety guidelines, and emergency procedures
  

• Experience working with children in educational, camp, art, or environmental settings preferred
  
• Background or interest in art, environmental education, or outdoor programming
  
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain
  
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive camp environment
  

• Ability to spend extended periods outdoors in varying weather conditions
  
• Ability to participate in light physical activity such as walking, hiking, and setting up materials
  
• Ability to lift and carry supplies
