We are currently hiring for a Custodia . This position is a non-exempt & full-time position located in McHenry, IL.? The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00 hourly. Summary of Position Responsibility: Perform duties to ensure facility and equipment are kept in operating, safe and usable condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean the main lobby area or all general entry areas in the warehouse, straighten & vacuum all entrance mats as needed.
• Sweep and mop all break areas, sanitize all lunch tables and seasonally assemble/disassemble all outdoor table umbrellas
• Stock copy paper, ground cleaning - canvas the grounds picking up trash/debris.
• Empty and re-line trash bins in the general areas of the warehouse, office areas and cafeteria.
• Clean warehouse rear stairwell stairs and hallways.
• Empty exterior trash receptacles as needed & empty all recycling cans.
• Clean shipping cross over bridge and clean all warehouse eye wash stations as needed
• Sweep exterior of Receiving & shipping docks and all ARU’s (as needed).
• Wipe down computer kiosks in the warehouse.
• Clean/sweep office mechanical rooms, phone, elevator closets & computer room ramp (as needed).
• Clean shipping ,receiving maintenance shop service doors as needed.
• Clean lunchroom coolers on monthly basis- including removal & cleaning of the shelves & cleaning of the interior/exterior.
• Sweep/mop fork lift charging stations as needed.
• Clean, dust, polish /vacuum(upholstered) lobby furniture.
• Clean and disinfect all restrooms within the office and warehouse; restock with necessary supplies such as paper products and hand soap on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Ability to operate custodial equipment such as vacuum floor scrubbers/pressure washers.
• Ability to read and use cleaning chemicals safely and according to Safety Data sheets (SDS).
• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain Cleaning Logs and complete assigned checklist.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards or supply shortages.
• Perform other duties assigned to support facility operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, or pullup to 30-50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to wear required PPE ( ex. cleaning/latex gloves gloves).
