Director of Clinical Services - Psychologist at California Health and Recovery Solutions, PC – Bakersfield, California

Position Description:

?Are you a clinical leader passionate about shaping programs that deliver high-quality, evidence-based care?

We’re seeking a Director of Clinical Services to oversee the development and implementation of clinical programming and assessment services. In this role, you’ll provide clinical leadership, guide staff education and training, and lead performance improvement projects. You’ll also be responsible for monitoring the quality, integrity, and appropriateness of clinical services to ensure compliance and excellence in care delivery.

What You’ll Do

Direct the development and delivery of evidence-based clinical services that support high-quality, patient-centered care.

Provide clinical consultation and support to staff across the facility.

Oversee and mentor clinical staff, ensuring effective service delivery and professional growth.

Monitor and evaluate documentation to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and accreditation standards.

Lead performance improvement initiatives that strengthen treatment planning, clinical care, and assessment services.

Represent clinical services on facility-wide committees and collaborate with leadership to align programs with organizational goals.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Training

Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology (required)

Master’s degree where permitted by contract

Experience

Direct experience working with the population served (required)

Prior management experience (preferred)

Licenses/Certifications

Licensed or license-eligible in the state of employment (required)
