Quality Inspector I at Regal Technology Partners Inc – Santa Ana, California

Position Title: Quality Inspector I

Department: Quality

Location: Santa Ana, CA

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full- Time

Job Summary:

The QC Inspector I role is responsible for performing detailed Final and In-process inspections on products and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications, including Rec. Inspection when required. This position plays a vital role in identifying defects, maintaining quality documentation, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct inspection on solder, conformal coating, bonding, rework as required.

· Identify and report any defects or non-conformities

· Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards

· Work with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues

· Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results

· Communicate any quality issues to management in a timely manner

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency

· Provide flexible support in final inspection, filling in as needed to maintain workflow and ensure consistent quality oversight.

Qualifications:

· IPC-610 knowledgeable or certified (Preferred)

· J-STD-001 knowledgeable or certified (Preferred)

· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a workstation.

· Manual dexterity to handle small components and operate inspection equipment.\

· Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
