Job Overview
Absolute Homes AZ is seeking a highly detail-oriented and tech-savvy Project Manager to lead New home construction from our office headquarters. This full-time role is 95% office-based and ideal for a Type A professional who thrives on structure, efficiency, and communication. As a central hub for project coordination, you will oversee everything from documentation and scheduling to cost estimating and subcontractor coordination. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project documentation: contracts, submittals, change orders, and blueprints using platforms like BuilderTrend, Chief Architect, Higharc, and Bluebeam Revu.

  • Update and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of all project phases.

  • Serve as a communication liaison between superintendents, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

  • Coordinate and track project permitting, ensuring timelines are met.

  • Estimate job costs and monitor expenses to align with project budgets.

  • Perform light drafting tasks and generate as-builts using construction software.

  • Review invoices for accuracy and completeness.

  • Prepare and manage contracts, change orders, and reports.

  • Assist in sourcing and qualifying new trade partners.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in residential construction or project management.

  • Bachelors Degree preferred, ideally in Construction Management.

  • High level of computer literacy; comfortable learning new platforms and software.

  • Prior experience with drafting software (e.g., Chief Architect, Bluebeam, Higharc) preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with residential estimating and cost tracking.

  • Able to work full-time in an office-based environment.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
