Job Overview:

A Certified Medical Assistant performs routine clerical and clinical tasks under the direction of the physician and Practice Manager. Clinical duties will include taking and recording vitals, medical history, preparing patients for examination, administering vaccines, processing prescription refills and assists with minor procedures as directed by a physician.

• 9:30am-5:30pm.

Essential Functions:

• Manages patient flow throughout the pediatric center
• Assists the clinical staff in providing technical aspects of patient care under the direction of the clinical team
• Assists the clinical and administrative staff in clerical functions in support of patient care
• Assures that office and clinical supplies are ordered and well stocked
• Maintains a well-stocked and organized clinical area
