Job Summary
The Dealer Solutions Specialist (DSS) is responsible for driving qualified pipeline development and early-stage solution engagement within an assigned regional pod. This role focuses on generating Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), positioning TraXtion’s value proposition, and accelerating opportunities through structured outreach and strategic prospecting.
The DSS serves as the front-line growth engine for the region, working closely with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to ensure consistent pipeline velocity and territory penetration.
Responsibilities and Duties
Pipeline Development & SQL Ownership
- Generate and qualify new opportunities within assigned territory
- Drive outbound prospecting campaigns aligned to regional strategy
- Respond to inbound leads within established SLAs
- Own and track SQL targets for the region
- Maintain disciplined CRM documentation and lead tracking
Solution Positioning & Demo Support
- Schedule and confirm demos for RSM
- Conduct high-level introductory solution overviews when appropriate
- Apply structured follow-up systems (2-2-2 cadence)
- Re-engage cold or stalled leads
- Ensure smooth transition of qualified opportunities to RSM
Regional Market Strategy
- Identify high-potential MSA and rural market opportunities
- Collaborate with RSM on territory targeting and sequencing
- Track lead-to-demo and demo-to-SQL conversion metrics
- Provide weekly pipeline reporting and territory insights
What You Bring
Required:
- 3+ years in inside sales, lead generation, or business development
- Strong outbound prospecting experience
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot/Dynamics preferred)
- Excellent communication and consultative positioning skills
- High follow-up discipline and organizational strength
- Automotive industry familiarity
Preferred:
- SaaS or technology sales experience
- Experience generating SQLs in a structured sales environment
- Marketing automation exposure
- Sales analytics and performance tracking experience
