Position Overview

An entry-level Business Analyst supports the organization by helping bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role focuses on gathering requirements, analyzing data, and assisting in improving processes, systems, or products.

This person reports to the Director of Medicare Program Management.

Job Description

· Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to collect and document business needs.

· Data Analysis: Review data to identify trends, issues, or opportunities for improvement.

· Process Documentation: Create workflows, process maps, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· Stakeholder Support: Assist in meetings, take notes, and help translate business needs into functional requirements.

· Testing & Validation: Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet requirements.

· Reporting: Prepare basic reports, dashboards, or presentations to communicate findings.

· Special Project as assigned

· Ability to travel

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to work with both business and technical teams
  • Familiarity with process mapping, workflow, policies, business requirements and procedures and or project methodologies
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of tools like Excel or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Professional Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Word, Visio, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Supervisory Responsibilities. This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities but will be required to perform as a team leader and act as a backup for the team’s manager.

Compensation Range:

$70,304 – 80,000 annually

Actual compensation offered will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity (if available), and geographic location. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and benefits.

Schedule:

  • Full-time onsite (100% in-office)
  • Hours of operations: 9am – 6pm
  • Standard business hours Monday to Friday/weekends as needed
  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings and training sessions.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Regularly sit/walk at a workstation in an office or cubicle setting. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds.
