About This Position

Radiographer

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Radiographer Signing Bonus for Eligible Candidates

Work location: 1110 Raintree Circle - Suite 100 Allen, Texas 75013

Work environment: Ortho Specialists

Work hours: Full -Time, 40 hours weekly; Monday - Thursday (730am - 430pm), Fridays (730am - 2pm)

Here's What You Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)

• Completion of an AART-approved Limited Radiologic Technology Education Program (REQUIRED)

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (PREFERRED)

• One year of Clinical Radiologic Technology experience (PREFERRED)

• AART, BCLS and ACLS upon hire (REQUIRED)

What You Will Do:

• Produce and perform diagnostic radiographs procedures, to be interpreted by the physician or radiologist

• Take X-Rays of various portions of the body in order to diagnosis disease or injury; positions patients and adjusts equipment for taking diagnostic images flowing established procedures

• Examines radiology film and/or digital exams for properties such as density and contracts, definition, magnification and distortion

• Maintains radiographic log, in accordance with the policy, taking responsibility for documentation of exam, patient's name, and/or retake reason

• Follows principles of safety, radiation protection , and the general comfort and care of the patient
