Middle School Assistant Baseball Coach at Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School – Allentown, Pennsylvania

Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as the Assistant Coach for our Baseball program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering skill development, teamwork, and a positive sports culture. Must be able to obtain all necessary background checks, including FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse History Clearance, and a physical examination.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership:
-Lead all aspects of the Baseball program, including planning, organization, and implementation of practices and games.
-Create a positive and competitive team environment that promotes skill development and sportsmanship.

Skill Development:
-Develop and implement effective baseball drills and practices to enhance players' skills.
-Provide individualized coaching to address player strengths and areas for improvement.

Game Strategy:
-Plan and execute effective game strategies in collaboration with assistant coaches.
-Attend games and actively contribute to in-game decision-making.

Player Motivation and Mentorship:
-Motivate players to achieve their best both on and off the field.
-Serve as a mentor and positive role model for student-athletes.

Communication:
-Communicate effectively with players, parents, school staff, and the athletics department.
-Provide regular updates on player progress and team performance.

Professional Development:
-Stay informed about current trends and best practices in baseball coaching.
-Pursue opportunities for professional development to enhance coaching skills.

Qualifications:
-Previous coaching experience in middle school or youth baseball is preferred.
-Knowledge of baseball rules, strategies, and skill development.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Positive attitude and commitment to the holistic development of student-athletes.
