Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Operations Analyst will develop and support strategic processes that enable AdaptHealth to optimize its Supply Chain & Operations. This role has the ability and intellectual capacity to examine complex issues with ambiguous or unknown variables, gather and synthesize the data necessary to enable decision-making, and then drive/manage projects to improve the processes. The area of focus will include but not be limited to following realms within our Supply Chain & Operations: Patient Services, Operations Excellence, Field Operations, Intake, Scheduling, Procurement, Fleet & Logistics, Inventory and Capacity.

Critical thinking, applied statistics knowledge, strong attention to detail, a passion for problem solving, and the ability to concisely communicate opportunities and risks to senior management are a must. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

  • Create operational and executive metrics to increase performance visibility and drive continuous improvement.
  • Retrieve, synthesize, and present critical data in a format that is immediately useful to answering specific questions or improving Operations or Business performance.
  • Identify data gaps, create business requirements and work with the Business Intelligence and Data platform team to drive improved visibility.
  • Partner with the Patient Service, Supply Chain, Intake, Field Operations, Operations Excellence and Technology teams to identify process gaps, and recommend both process changes and reporting that will ensure sustained improvement.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to drive business decisions on process improvement and project prioritization.
  • Ability to formalize assumptions, create statistical definition of the outlier, and develop methods to systematically identify these outliers. Generate automatic scripts to define anomalies, deep dive to explain why they happen, and identify fixes.
  • Support projects or components of large projects from start to finish including data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.
  • This involves analyzing large data sets by utilizing Snowflake, ETL, Power BI, Tableau, R and Python to shape data and run simulations, understanding historical trends and pattern and build forecasting models.
  • Prepare workflow, process diagram and presentations by partnering with multiple teams to identify gaps and create cost-benefit analyses to improve business projects.
  • Develop feedback loops and business processes across the network
  • Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required.
  • Maintains compliant with AdaptHealth’s Compliance Program.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Competency, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to understand, synthesize and visualize data using tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and programming languages such as Snowflake, Python, or R.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements:

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Two (2) to Five (5) years of related experience as an analyst in business analysis, supply chain or operations
  • BS or BA degree in a quantitative field such as Math, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Operations is required
  • Possesses extensive knowledge regarding data modeling and exposure to simulation
  • Experience developing Optimization Models to answer complex business questions and support ongoing decision-making.
  • Experienced with managing change and driving change through the organization

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with extensive computer and data analysis work.
  • Requires strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • May require up to 20% travel for site visits, implementations, and leadership meetings.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and high visibility.
