Beacon Home Services is seeking a Parts Runner to join our team. As an essential member, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of electrical and plumbing parts to worksites, contributing directly to the success of our operations.

Position Summary:

The Parts Runner is primarily responsible for delivering electrical and plumbing parts and equipment to worksites and suppliers. The focus is on timely deliveries, with some responsibility for handling materials as needed. The role also provides opportunities to learn and utilize technology to enhance job efficiency. The successful candidate will work under supervision, follow established processes, demonstrate flexibility, and maintain a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload electrical and plumbing materials onto vehicles, ensuring proper techniques to prevent damage during transit.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries, transporting parts via company vehicle to designated locations.
• Assist with inventory control tasks when required, including maintaining accurate records.
• Keep trucks organized and stocked with required supplies.
• Learn and utilize technology or software systems as needed to support delivery and inventory management.
• Develop the ability to recognize or be willing to learn about plumbing and electrical parts and equipment.
• Communicate regularly with the Inventory Manager to ensure smooth workflow and alignment.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism in all customer and team interactions.
• Safely operate company vehicles and follow all safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including potential weekend shifts.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and software.
• Willingness or ability to recognize plumbing and electrical parts and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stamina to stand, bend, stoop, sit, and reach during daily tasks.
• Willingness to travel to different locations as required.
