We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior HR Associate to support, HR functions, recruiting activities and payroll operations. This role requires exceptional accuracy, strong communication skills, and the ability to support both employees and the HR Director in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English, is comfortable handling multiple priorities including HR data management, recruitment tasks and payroll processing experience preferably with Paylocity.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations, Employee & Administrative Support
· Maintain accurate employee data across all HR systems.
· Assist with onboarding and offboarding, ensuring timely system updates and documentation.
· Provide bilingual Spanish/English support to employees regarding HR policies, payroll and benefits.
· Respond to employee and manager HR inquiries promptly and professionally.
· Support department initiatives, compliance activities, and reporting.
· Assist in event planning for employee engagement activities and company events.
Recruitment Support
· Screen resumes and identify qualified candidates for open positions.
· Support recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews, coordinating communication, and assisting with candidate follow-up.
· Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure timely and efficient recruitment workflows.
Payroll & Timekeeping
· Process biweekly payroll accurately and timely using Paylocity.
· Manage and reconcile Time & Attendance records, including timesheet approvals, PTO tracking, and schedule adjustments.
· Ensure proper calculation of wages, deductions, garnishments, and payroll adjustments.
· Maintain payroll documentation in compliance with internal policies and federal/state regulations.
· Support year-end payroll tasks, including audits and reporting.
Requirements:Qualifications - Required
· 3–5+ years of payroll and HR experience.
· Experience using Paylocity (strongly preferred).
· Experience with multi-state payroll.
· Bilingual Spanish/English (written and verbal).
· Strong understanding of federal and NY state payroll laws.
· High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Salary Range: $60K-$70k annually. The pay range for this position is approximate. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities.
