Tool Room Attendant at Beck & Pollitzer US Inc – De Soto, Kansas

Summary of Primary Functions: Beck & Pollitzer USA is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Tool Room Attendant to support our industrial installation and relocation operations. The Tool Room Attendant is responsible for managing, maintaining, and tracking all tools and equipment used on industrial installation and relocation projects. This role ensures that field teams have the necessary tools in proper working condition while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting overall site efficiency and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Issue and receive tools, equipment, and materials to field personnel
• Maintain accurate records of tool inventory, usage, and condition
• Inspect tools regularly to ensure they are safe and in proper working order
• Perform basic maintenance and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed
• Track and report missing, damaged, or overdue tools
• Organize and maintain tool storage areas, trailers, and jobsite tool cribs
• Assist with loading and unloading tools and equipment for project mobilization/demobilization
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures
• Support site supervisors and project managers with tool-related needs
• Conduct periodic inventory audits

Experience, Qualifications and Key Competencies

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, tool room, or construction/industrial environment preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbsand work in an industrial jobsite environment
• Attention to detail and strong sense of accountability
• Basic computer skills (Excel or inventory tracking systems preferred)

Travel Required: 0% - This person must be local to De Soto, Kansas and able to commute to site Monday-Friday

Work Environment

• Industrial jobsite setting
• Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, and heavy equipment
• Requires standing, walking, lifting, and manual handling of tools and equipment
