Licensed Practical Nurse (LN II) at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking an LPN in a busy family practice clinic in Ruston. We are looking for an energetic candidate with strong work ethics. They need to be dependable, punctual, and the ability to work in a team approach. The job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assessment of the patient to include history, physical, and allergies by utilizing a systematic approach. The nurse will review medications with medication reconciliation. They will administer medications as ordered by the physicians and assist in clinical procedures. The candidate will work with insurance companies on pre-authorizations for tests, medication and procedures. They will assist in scheduling referrals, X-rays, and other tests and procedures. They will need good communication skills. The nurse will assist with answering and returning phone calls, and patient education. Will need to have good computer skills to manage the enterprise computer system.

Clinical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
